Wedding Adventures

Hey everyone. It’s been quite a while since my last post, but I’m going to make a real effort to post once a day or at the very least, once every second day.

It’s been a busy few months, weddings and studio shoots have kept me out of mischief and infront of the laptop. I have had the pleasure of photographing some amazing weddings, both in N.Ireland and across the water. Studio bookings have been busy too, ever since starting the £30 promotion, but more on that in the next blog post 🙂

Stuart and Ruth-6

The image above was taken at Stuart & Ruths wedding in Belfast. It was a fantastic day and we were surprised just how many sights we were able to visit to get photos, from the Titanic building to Stormont, from the roof of the Europa Hotel to the dome at Victoria Square.

I also had the pleasure of working at Mark & Susannes wedding. The day went really quick and a lot of the guests there I knew already, so it was a nice and relaxed wedding. The photo below of the guys and their fun socks is from this day.

Wedding Photos-14

I look forward to being a part of every single wedding, but the one I worked at in Cornwall, in November, was a little special. It was for Russ and Lyndsay. I’ve known the bride-to-be for years and it was nice to be asked to capture their day, which turned into a weekend. I arrived on the Thursday and started taken photos on the Friday night, when all the guests were arriving at Polhawn Fort, and worked up until lunchtime on the Sunday when we got some casual shots down on the beach. Below is one of my favourite shots from the weekend. It was the brides fatyher seeing her in her dress for the first time. I love the emotion in this.

There have been a few other weddings too, but I will post about them in another blog.

Yesterday (Mon 14th Dec), I was in the studio with a girl  I worked with a couple of years back, Sasha. We had some pretty cool ideas but one that I had been looking to do, turned out better than I hoped, it’s the photo below. It’s a little more creative than usual, and before the end of the year, I have a couple of funky photoshoots to end 2015 in style. Whatch this space.
